RESOLUTION NO. 8906 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />APPROVING HIRING OF BRADLEY LeTOURNEAU TO THE POSITION OF PUBLIC <br />WORKS SUPERINTENDENT <br />WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View posted for a Public Works Superintendent; <br />WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View posted for the position on its web page, the <br />League of Minnesota Cities web page, indeed.com, and the American Public Works <br />Association (APWA); and <br />WHEREAS, thirty-six (36) applications were received, scored and five (5) <br />interviews were conducted, with the top three (3) returning for a second interview; and <br />WHEREAS, an interview panel comprised of the Public Works Director, Public <br />Works Administrative Assistant, City Administrator and Human Resources Coordinator, <br />conducted a first interview on January 22 and 23, 2018 and selected three (3) <br />candidates for a second interview. On January 29, 2018 the three (3) candidates <br />appeared for their second interview with the panel of the Public Works Lead Workers, <br />and the Human Resources Coordinator. At the conclusion of the second interview, the <br />panel engaged in discussion and came to a conclusion for a recommendation. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council <br />approves the hiring of Bradley LeTourneau to the position of Public Works <br />Superintendent starting on or about March 5, 2018 at Level 2 of the 2018 Compensation <br />plan and upon successful completion of a 6 month probation and one year employment <br />be moved to Level 3. <br />Adopted this 12th Day of February, 2018 <br />Carol A.
