ORDINANCE NO. 5 7 6 <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING NEW BRIGHTON <br />CITY CODE CHAPTER 11, ARTICLES I AND II, <br />RELATING TO THE REGU� ATION OF HAULERS OF <br />GARBAGE, REFUSE, RECYC'_•ABLES AND YARD WASTE <br />THE CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON DOES ORDAIN: <br />Section 1. New Brighton City Code Section 11-1 is amended to read as <br />follows: <br />Sec. 11-1. Definitions. <br />For tite purposes of this Chapter, the following words and phrases <br />shall have the them following meanings: <br />Approved: Acceptable to the health authority fallawing upon a <br />determination as to compliance with established public health practices. <br />Collection Days: Effective May 1. 1991: North of 694 - Monday; South of <br />694 - Tuesday. <br />Commercial Establishment: Any premises where an institutional <br />commercial or industrial enterprise of anv kind is carried on, including <br />restaurants and clubs, churches, and schools. <br />Garbage: All putreseible : - 4 <br />..� <br />-- with suel:i materiais. Garbage, under <br />chins -definition, is understood to ineh damestie <br />waste preduets • anim-s" exereta tf eafeas5es and residues obtained in the <br />preparation, a 1.tv.n, display -,sale ef storagemeat, of , <br />fewer —Files, grain, ` Putrescible animal and vegetable waste, <br />including that resulting from tlne handling, preparation, cooking or <br />consumption of food. <br />Hauler: A collector or transporter of garba_e, refuse, recyclable materials, <br />or yard waste. <br />Health Authority: The municip public health sanitarian or h+s the <br />authorized representative of the sanitarian. <br />License: A license issued in accordance with this chapter. <br />Multiple Dwelling: Any building used for residential purposes consisting of <br />three or more residential units with individual kitchen facilities for each. <br />
