07/01/99 THU 13:39 FAX 904-IAINSTREET <br />2 - <br />Automobile: An automobile will be provided by the City for your use on a <br />24 hour basis. <br />Holidays, Vacations, <br />Sick heave: You will be granted the same number of holidays as other <br />Department Head employees. <br />You will be provided a two week bank of vacation upon <br />employment and will earn two weeks of vacation during your <br />RM year of employment. Thereafter, you will accrue vacation <br />at the rate of three weeks per year during the second year of <br />employment and four weeks per year the third year of <br />employment and thereafter. <br />Upon employment you will be eligible for the City's flextime <br />policy which allows compensation time for every hour worked <br />over a 40 hour week. You will accrue and use flextime in <br />accordance with City policy. <br />Upon employment you will. be given a 30 day bank of sick <br />leave. Thereafter, you will accumulate one day per month <br />against the 30 day bank and will continue to accumulate sick <br />leave in accordance with City policy. <br />Insurance: It is understood that you have chosen to waive then employee and <br />family medical insurance benefits offered by the City of Mounds <br />View. You have made a prior agreement with a former <br />employer to pay these benefits. <br />Memberships/ <br />Conferences: Expenses related to dues and conferences in national and state <br />professional development organizations including the <br />International Association of Chiefs of Police and the Minnesota <br />Chiefs of police Associations are subject to agreement of the <br />City Administrator and budget considerations. <br />The City Will pay 50% (up to $1,000 annually) of the tuition <br />and expenses incurred in completing training and education <br />programs. These funds will cover the cost of tuition, training <br />materials, transportation and lodging and are subject to budget <br />constraints and approval by the City Administrator. <br />Z00s <br />
