Camp du Nord will make available a limited number of spaces at 80% the <br />regular camp fee for families of full-time employees each summer, according to <br />limitations of the budget and demand. Camp du Nord meals will be charged at <br />100%. <br />Racquetball/handball prime -time use (as identified by a local branch) by <br />full-time staff is limited to same-day reservations. <br />Revised 11/96 <br />Discounts on Merchandise Purchases <br />Full-time employees will receive, for personal use only, a 20% discount on <br />athletic equipment normally sold by the YMCA to its members. Direct purchase at <br />cost or other discount of office supplies, camping equipment, maintenance <br />supplies, athletic equipment, foodstuffs or other items for employee or <br />volunteer use is not permitted. <br />Minnesota Central Credit Union <br />The YMCA provides for payroll deductions for contributions by full-time <br />employees participating in the Minnesota Central Credit Union. <br />Flexible Benefits Plan <br />The YMCA provides a Flexible Benefits Plan under Section 125 of the IRS code. <br />This plan allows full-time employees to deduct from their salaries on a pre-tax <br />basis their personal contributions for the YMCA group health, dental, life, <br />short-term disability insurance premiums and/or other group insurance plans, <br />uncovered medical expenses (including deductibles) and dependent care expenses. <br />Deducting for such expenses from salary on a pre-tax basis lowers the employee's <br />Federal State and FICA taxes, thereby increasing the employee's take-home pay. <br />Revised 1/97 <br />LEAVES -WITH PAY <br />Bereavement Policy <br />The Branch Executive and/or the Vice President of Human Resources may grant an <br />absence of up to three days per year with pay not chargeable to Paid Time Off to <br />any full-time employee in the event of the death of a family member. <br />Implemented 1/97 <br />Jury Duty <br />Employees called to serve jury duty will be excused for that part of the <br />day(s). A full-time employee's YMCA.salary will be continued as usual for a <br />period not to exceed 2 weeks and the employee shall be permitted to retain fees <br />received. Documentation of jury duty must be presented to 'the YMCA in order to <br />be paid salary. <br />Paid jury duty time is not time worked and is not counted in the computation of <br />hours worked in computing overtime. <br />
