This option will result in making continued significant progress in digitizing all existing <br />data AND, to use a more crude term — stop the bleeding. Other than Public Works, <br />Administration and HR produce the largest volume of data. Our Finance Data can be <br />converted and most of Community Development is being done while the majority of PD <br />data is in the Zuercher system. <br />Option 2 — Hire OPG 3 to do the entire file structure and templates. Purchase the final two <br />scanners. Total cost = $20,500 PLUS the labor allocation of $5,000 = $25,500 <br />Funding Source: <br />The OPG3 and temporary part time labor are non -budgeted items. Options to fund include the <br />Special Projects Fund. <br />Recommendation <br />Move forward with Option 1 (will start with Admin module) and allocate up to $10,445 in <br />calendar year to further improve data records/retention. We will begin with just the Admin <br />module and assess after that prior to engaging OPG3 on the HR module. <br />
