RESOLUTION 8930 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING UP TO $10,455 FROM THE SPECIAL PROJECS <br />FUNDS FOR THE RECORDS RETENTION DATASTORAGE PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, State Statute and Best Practices determines and guides governmental <br />agencies in proper record retention and data storage; and, <br />WHEREAS, the digitization of records is desirable both in terms of physical storage <br />needs but more importantly, retrieving those records and, <br />WHEREAS, the City has taken several steps to digitize and store records and this current <br />effort builds upon those same efforts and systems; and, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds <br />View, approves allocating up to $10,455 from the Special Projects Fund towards the Records <br />Retention/Data Storage effort <br />Passed and adopted this 26th day of March, 2018. <br />Carol A.
