Stantec has provided an estimate of $49,425 for water main replacement and pavement <br />rehabilitation. Public Works will be coordinating with Ramsey County in the timing of the <br />water main replacement in order to reduce the costs. The goal would be to have the water <br />main replaced just prior to the mill and overlay and asking the County to include the asphalt <br />restoration with their project. <br />Cost for the water main replacement, without asphalt restoration, is $30,250. Funding would <br />be from Water Infrastructure, account 700-4823-7050, to include a 2018 budget <br />adjustment. <br />Recommendation: <br />Ramsey County is seeking Council's support for a City Resolution for no parking on the <br />East side of Long Lake Road; Staff will bring this forward to the April 23, 2018 meeting. <br />Staff is requesting that Council approve replacing the water main at Long Lake Road and <br />Hillivew Road with that also being brought forward to the April 23, 2018 meeting. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />Don Peterson, Public Works Director <br />Attachments: <br />Ramsey County — Community Meeting Notice <br />Long Lake Road Resurfacing <br />Long Lake Road Project Visualization <br />
