Recommendation: <br />Staff along with the Parks, Recreation and Forestry Commission, is recommending the <br />City Council accept the bid from Bituminous Roadways, Inc. for the rehabilitation of the <br />Greenfield and Groveland Parks, tennis and basketball courts with a base bid of <br />$179,425.00 including Alternate 1 of $18,150.00. <br />Staff also recommends the Council Authorize Fred Kolkman perform the inspection on <br />the project at a cost of $7,500.00. <br />Staff further recommends the Council approve a contingency of 7% or $13,830.25 for any <br />unforeseen items that may arise during the project. A total project cost of $218,905.25 to <br />be funded from the Park Dedication Fund, 451-4470-7050, which has a 2018 budget <br />amount of $250,000.00. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />Don Peterson, Public Works Director <br />
