Mounds View City Council December 12, 2016 <br />Regular Meeting Page 8 <br /> <br />Street and Utility Improvement Project, Area H. 1 <br /> 2 <br />Public Works Director Erickson requested the Council accept improvements and approve the 3 <br />final payment for the 2015 Street and Utility Improvement Project for Area H. He explained this 4 <br />project was completed earlier in 2016. Staff recommended approval of the final payment after 5 <br />the City receives all final paperwork. 6 <br /> 7 <br />Council Member Mueller understood there were residents along Fairchild and Groveland Road 8 <br />that were very unhappy with their infiltration basins. She questioned how the City was going to 9 <br />address this situation. Public Works Director Erickson stated the project does have a one year 10 <br />warranty and these basins would continue to be monitored by the City. 11 <br /> 12 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Meehlhause. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 8680, 13 <br />Accept Improvements and Approve Final Payment for 2015 Street and Utility Improvement 14 <br />Project, Area H. 15 <br /> 16 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 17 <br /> 18 <br />I. Resolution 8685, Approving the Purchase of a 2016 Felling Trailer. 19 <br /> 20 <br />Public Works Supervisor Peterson requested the Council approve the purchase of a 2016 Felling 21 <br />Trailer. He explained the trailer would be used by the Public Works Department to assist with 22 <br />stormwater maintenance. He indicated the trailer would cost $12,826 and this expense was 23 <br />included in the 2016 budget. 24 <br /> 25 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Meehlhause/Mueller.
