<br /> <br />Item No: 08D <br />Meeting Date: January 11, 2016 <br />Type of Business: Consent <br /> <br />City of Mounds View Staff Report <br />To: Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />From: James Ericson, City Administrator <br />Item Title/Subject: Resolution 8504 Appointing Gary Stevenson as the <br />Chairperson to the Mounds View Planning and Zoning <br />Commission <br /> <br /> <br />Introduction: <br /> <br />The Mounds View Planning and Zoning Commission held its first meeting of the new <br />year on January 6, 2016, at which meeting the Commission considered who should be <br />Chairperson for the year. <br /> <br /> <br />Discussion: <br /> <br />Commissioner Gary Stevenson has been the Chair of the Planning Commission for <br />many years, and according to the Commission, has served the Commission well as <br />Chairperson. The Commission nominated Mr. Stevenson to continue serving in such <br />capacity for 2016 and recommends that the City Council approve the nomination. <br /> <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />Staff and the Planning Commission recommend that the City Council approve attached <br />Resolution 8504, a resolution appointing Gary Stevenson to continue serving as the <br />Chairperson to the Mounds View Planning and Zoning Commission in 2016. <br /> <br />Respectfully submitted, <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />________________________ <br />James Ericson <br />City Administrator <br /> <br />
