Mounds View City Council January 11, 2016 <br />Regular Meeting Page 4 <br /> <br /> 1 <br />Council Member Gunn stated she would continue her service on the SBM Fire Relief 2 <br />Association. 3 <br /> 4 <br />Council Member Hull and Council Member Meehlhause were willing to serve on the Human 5 <br />Resources Committee. 6 <br /> 7 <br />Council Member Meehlhause indicated he would like to remain appointed to the Minnesota 8 <br />Metro North Tourism Group. 9 <br /> 10 <br />Council Member Mueller and Council Member Hull (alternate) would continue on the YMCA 11 <br />Advisory Committee. 12 <br /> 13 <br />Mayor Flaherty reported he would serve as the NSCC appointee and Finance Director Beer 14 <br />would remain the alternate. 15 <br /> 16 <br />Council Member Meehlhause would continue to act as the Commission and Committee Liaison. 17 <br /> 18 <br />Council Member Meehlhause and Mayor Flaherty (alternate) would remain the representatives 19 <br />for Northeast Youth and Family Services. 20 <br /> 21 <br />Council Member Mueller and Mayor Flaherty (alternate) would serve the City for the League of 22 <br />Minnesota Cities. 23 <br /> 24 <br />Mayor Flaherty would remain the City’s representative for the North Metro Mayor’s Association 25 <br />with Council Member Gunn acting as the alternate. 26 <br /> 27 <br />Council Member Meehlhause and Council Member Mueller (alternate) were both willing to 28 <br />continue serving on the Mounds View Business Council. It was noted this organization would be 29 <br />moving to quarterly business meetings. 30 <br /> 31 <br />Council Member Gunn and Council Member Hull (alternate) agreed to be the City’s 32 <br />representatives for the North Metro Corridor Coalition. 33 <br /> 34 <br />Mayor Flaherty and City Administrator Ericson (alternate) would remain the appointees for 35 <br />Metro Cities. 36 <br /> 37 <br />Council Member Hull and Council Member Gunn (alternate) would continue their service on the 38 <br />Anoka County Fire Protection Board. 39 <br /> 40 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Gunn. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 8500, 41 <br />Appointing City Council Members and City Staff as Representatives for City Commissions and 42 <br />Other Organizations. 43 <br /> 44 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 45
