Mounds View City Council January 11, 2016 <br />Regular Meeting Page 6 <br /> <br />Mayor Flaherty requested further information on the 2015 Pay Equity Report. Assistant City 1 <br />Administrator Crane reported the State requires all municipalities to complete a pay equity report 2 <br />every three years. This report proves there are no pay disparities between male and female job 3 <br />classifications. She was pleased to report that after reviewing the 2015 report the City was 4 <br />compliant. 5 <br /> 6 <br />Council Member Mueller discussed the changes the League of Minnesota Cities was proposing 7 <br />for smaller municipalities. 8 <br /> 9 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Flaherty/Hull. To Waive the Reading and Adopt 8502, Approving the 10 <br />2015 Pay Equity Report. 11 <br /> 12 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 13 <br /> 14 <br /> C. Resolution 8503, Approving Revisions to Criteria for Citizen of the Year 15 <br />Nominations. 16 <br /> 17 <br />Council Member Meehlhause encouraged residents and businesses to submit their nominations 18 <br />for citizen of the year. He requested further information on the changes that were made to the 19 <br />nomination criteria. Assistant City Administrator Crane explained the eligibility criteria was 20 <br />amended and nominations would now be accepted for people that work or contribute in some 21 <br />way to the City of Mounds View. 22 <br /> 23 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Meehlhause/Mueller.
