RESOLUTION 8556 CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW COUNTY OF RAMSEY STATE OF MINNESOTA ACCEPT IMPROVEMENTS AND APPROVE FINAL PAYMENT FOR 2015 ROOFING OF BOOSTER STATION & WELL NO. 2 PROJECT WHEREAS, Inspec prepared project documents for the repair work in accordance with industry standards, and a public bid solicitation was sent out with 2 bids being received; and WHEREAS, Rosenquist Construction, Inc. of Minneapolis, Minnesota, submitted the lowest bid in the amount of $71,960.00; and WHEREAS, City Council approved a construction contract with Rosenquist Construction, Inc. to perform the roofing rehabilitation work for $71,960.00 in Resolution 8417; and, WHEREAS, The Public Works Director approved one (1) change order in the amount of $3,375.00 for necessary contract modifications to complete the project; and, WHEREAS, Rosenquist Construction, Inc. has successfully completed all project construction and met all other contract requirements for the Project with a substantial completion date of August 21, 2015 and a final construction cost of $75,335.00; and WHEREAS, City staff recommends accepting the completed construction work and issuing final payment for $3,766.75 to Rosenquist Construction, Inc. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: 1. All work completed under the contract between the City and Rosenquist Construction, Inc. for construction of the 2015 Roofing of Booster Station & Well No. 2 Project is hereby accepted and approved. 2. The Finance Director is authorized to issue final payment of $3,766.75 to Rosenquist Construction, Inc. for completing construction of the Project.
