To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 8531, a 2 <br />Resolution Accepting a Donation from Bethlehem Baptist Church and Approving Redistribution 3 <br />of Funds. 4 <br /> 5 <br />Council Member Mueller thanked Bethlehem Baptist Church for their continued support of the 6 <br />community. 7 <br /> 8 <br />Mayor Flaherty appreciated the dedicated efforts of Bethlehem Baptist as well and explained that 9 <br />these donations made many community programs possible. 10 <br /> 11 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 12 <br /> 13 <br />B. First Reading and Introduction of Ordinance 913, an Ordinance Amending 14 <br />Chapter 1120 of the Mounds View Zoning Code Relating to Planned Unit 15 <br />Developments. 16 <br /> 17 <br />Planner Sevald requested the Council introduce an Ordinance amending Chapter 1120 of the 18 <br />Mounds View Zoning Code relating to Planned Unit Developments. He explained staff was 19 <br />proposing to change the size of mixed use developments from five acres to four acres for the 20 <br />minimum project size. 21 <br /> 22 <br />Mayor Flaherty understood Crossroad Pointe was driving this amendment. He questioned why 23 <br />the City set a five-acre minimum to begin with. City Administrator Ericson believed there was 24 <br />some concern that if the limit was smaller than five acres, the City would be overwhelmed with 25 <br />requests. However, this was not the case. For this reason, staff was supporting the minimum 26 <br />project size being reduced to four acres. 27 <br /> 28 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Hull. To Waive the First Reading and Introduce Ordinance 913, 29 <br />an Ordinance Amending Chapter 1120 of the Mounds View Zoning Code Relating to Planned 30 <br />Unit Developments. 31 <br /> 32 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 33 <br /> 34 <br />C. Resolution 8532, a Resolution Approving a Minor Subdivision of 7800 35 <br />Eastwood Road. 36 <br /> 37 <br />Planner Sevald requested the Council consider a minor subdivision for the property at 7800 38 <br />Eastwood Road. He explained the applicant, Terry Buchanan, requested to split his lot into two. 39 <br />The property was currently zoned R-1 Single Family. It was noted all minimum standards were 40 <br />being met by the subdivision. He noted the applicant would be responsible for paying $1,082 in 41 <br />Park Dedication fees for the new parcel. Staff explained the Planning Commission reviewed this 42 <br />request at their February 17th meeting and recommended approval. 43 <br /> 44 <br />Mayor Flaherty asked if the current home met all existing setback requirements.
