Planner Sevald indicated the new 3 <br />lot would be .32 acres in size. 4 <br /> 5 <br />Council Member Mueller inquired if the new lot would be sold off and built on. Planner Sevald 6 <br />stated this was his understanding. 7 <br /> 8 <br />Council Member Mueller asked if a new curb cut would be created for the new lots driveway. 9 <br />Mr. Buchanan stated he would like to have this work completed sooner rather than later. He 10 <br />hoped to have the work completed prior to selling the new lot. 11 <br /> 12 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Meehlhause. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 8532, 13 <br />a Resolution Approving a Minor Subdivision of 7800 Eastwood Road. 14 <br /> 15 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 16 <br /> 17 <br />D. Resolution 8530, Accept Improvements and Approve Final Payment for 2015 18 <br />Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation Project. 19 <br /> 20 <br />Public Works Director Erickson requested the Council accept improvements and approve the 21 <br />final payment for the 2015 Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation project. He reported the contractor has 22 <br />finished all work on this project, including all punch list items. 23 <br /> 24 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Mueller. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 8530, 25 <br />Accept Improvements and Approve Final Payment for 2015 Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation 26 <br />Project. 27 <br /> 28 <br />Mayor Flaherty asked if staff was satisfied with the work completed by HydroClean. Public 29 <br />Works Director Erickson stated he was pleased with the work completed by the contractor. 30 <br /> 31 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 32 <br /> 33 <br />E. Resolution 8533, Approve Public Works Facility Design Services Request for 34 <br />Proposals and Authorize Advertisement. 35 <br /> 36 <br />Public Works Director Erickson requested the Council approve the Public Works Facility Design 37 <br />Services RFP and authorize staff to advertise the RFP. He indicated the deadline for the RFP’s 38 <br />would be April 15th and they would be reviewed by the Council in early May. He discussed the 39 <br />proposed construction timeline, along with the green initiatives that would be pursued at the 40 <br />facility. He estimated the building would cost $4 million. 41 <br /> 42 <br />Council Member Mueller supported the proposed sustainable features, but asked if the expense 43 <br />would be covered by the original bonding amount. Public Works Director Erickson stated this 44 <br />would depend on the size and scale of the feature. 45
