He explained a 30-day notice letter was sent to all impacted by these special 11 <br />assessments. 12 <br /> 13 <br />Mayor Flaherty opened the public hearing at 7:33 p.m. 14 <br /> 15 <br />Hearing no public input, Mayor Flaherty closed the public hearing at 7:33 p.m. 16 <br /> 17 <br />Mayor Flaherty asked how much time has elapsed from the first notification to this meeting. 18 <br />Finance Director Beer reported the diseased trees were removed last November and invoices 19 <br />were sent in December of 2015. He explained the abatement charges and administrative offenses 20 <br />were from last December as well. 21 <br /> 22 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Meehlhause. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 8578 23 <br />Adopting a Special Assessments for Unpaid Abatement Charges, Administrative Offense 24 <br />Charges, and Diseased Tree Charges. 25 <br /> 26 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 27 <br /> 28 <br />D. 7:00 p.m. Public Hearing to Consider Second Reading and Adoption of 29 <br />Ordinance 917, an Ordinance Revising Title 1100 of the Mounds View City 30 <br />Code Regarding Carports and Accessory Uses (ROLL CALL VOTE). 31 <br /> 32 <br />Planner Sevald requested the Council consider a Zoning Code Amendment that would revise 33 <br />Title 1100 of the Mounds View City Code regarding carports and accessory uses. He explained 34 <br />the Planning Commission reviewed this item at their May 18th meeting and recommended 35 <br />approval. 36 <br /> 37 <br />Mayor Flaherty opened the public hearing at 7:37 p.m. 38 <br /> 39 <br />Hearing no public input, Mayor Flaherty closed the public hearing at 7:37 p.m. 40 <br /> 41 <br />Mayor Flaherty requested further comment on the discussion held by the Planning Commission 42 <br />regarding this matter.
