or administrative tribunal, agency or governmental body or as may be necessary for the Fire <br /> Department and its officers, employees,representatives or agents to perform the services <br /> contemplated hereunder. <br /> ARTICLE XIII. ENTIRE AGREEMENT <br /> 13.1 This Agreement contains the entire understanding between the City and the Fire <br /> Department concerning the subject matter hereof and supersedes all prior discussion, <br /> understandings or agreements whether written or oral; and the provisions applicable thereto <br /> cannot be-amended, altered, enlarged, supplemented, abridged, modified, extended or waived <br /> except in writing duly signed by all the parties hereto. <br /> 13.2 This Agreement may be modified, extended or amended only with the written <br /> approval of the Fire Department and the Municipality. <br /> 13.3 This Agreement shall be binding upon and inure to the benefit of the parties. No <br /> assignment or attempted assignment of this Agreement or any rights hereunder shall be effective <br /> unless consented to in writing by the parties. Notwithstanding the foregoing, nothing contained <br /> in this Subsection 13.3 shall preclude the Fire Department from retaining independent <br /> contractors or other personnel to perform services on its behalf under this Agreement. <br /> 13.4 In the event that any one or more provisions of this Agreement or any application <br /> thereof, shall be found to be invalid, illegal or otherwise unenforceable, the validity, legality and <br /> enforceability of the remaining provisions in any application therefor shall not in any way be <br /> affected or impaired thereby. <br /> ARTICLE XIV.
