Anything that is "red flagged"that did not get <br /> flagged the first time around of any significance, meaning anything over 10% of the b.i.d., that <br /> this would then be halted and brought back before the Council for additional consideration. <br /> Mayor Coughlin requests discussion. <br /> Mr. Stigney reiterated that he feels much more comfortable with this if they are paying half the <br /> cost of that light rather than the City picking 3/4 of the cost. <br /> Ms. Thomason said 10% of$430,000 is still a significant amount. If there is a change Council <br /> would have an opportunity to know any differences that MNDOT comes back with would be <br /> over a certain dollar amount instead of a certain percent. There is a total of <br /> $4,000,000 divided into two grant cycles, the first of which ended last fall. The prior Council <br /> authorized me to submit a grant application to DTED seeking some financial assistance with <br /> respect to the Mermaid project which was pending at that time and which is still pending. This is <br /> the grant application submitted at that time.
