Payment of severance in the amount of one week of salary for every year of the <br /> employee's service to the City; and <br /> 2. Payment of unused vacation and sick leave in an amount equal to the full amount <br /> available for the employee's unused vacation leave and 50% of the accumulated sick leave; and <br /> 3. Payment by the City of an amount equal to six months of the City's standard <br /> contribution normally paid for an employee's health insurance premiums; and <br /> 4. Payment by the City, up to a value of$3,000 for outplacement or educational <br /> retraining; and <br /> 5. The offering is subject to the execution of a release of all claims by the employee <br /> against the City and its agents, consultants employees, former employees, insurers, heirs, <br /> executors and assigns <br /> The resolutions also establish that the abolition of this position is for budgetary reasons <br /> only, and is by no means a reflection on the performance of Rick Jarson, our current Building <br /> Official. <br /> 1N:\USERS\CARIS\ADMIN\LEGALUARSON.RPT <br />
