RESOLUTION 5303 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE 1999 COUNCIL AND WORK SESSION <br /> MEETING FORMAT <br /> WHEREAS,the City Council wishes to create new format for the City Council meeting, <br /> the following changes will be made to the format: <br /> 1. The City Council wishes to limit the City Council meetings to three hours. <br /> If a situation arises that requires an extension past 10:00 PM, a motion must be made to <br /> extend the meeting for up to one half hour in order to complete any necessary City <br /> Council action. This process can be repeated for as long as deemed necessary. If the <br /> motion fails,the meeting is automatically adjourned and all remaining items will be <br /> automatically carried over to the next meeting under the title of "unfinished business." <br /> 2. All City Council Reports will now be given at the beginning of the meeting following <br /> the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> 3. A new section will be added to the Council Agenda entitled"Unfinished Business" <br /> which will follow the Consent Agenda. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED,that the aforementioned changes will be <br /> made to the City Council Agenda Format, as desired by the Mounds View City Council. <br /> Adopted this 11th day of January, 1999 <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Dan Coughlin,Mayor <br /> (SEAL) <br /> Chuck Whiting, City Administrator <br />
