rI-cUM bILGId/t3/ti
F
WESTERPI BANK
way m,4r%N....mm4.0.
t Member FDIC Equal Housing,Lander flat
February 2, 1998
Mr. Chuck Whiting •
City of Mounds View
2401 Highway 10
Mounds View, MN 55112-1499
I RE: Water/Sewer Bills
3
d Dear Chuck:
Thank you forour concern regarding Y eg rdtng our water/sewer bills that seem to be some how
incorrect.
Enclosed is a copyof the10th letterthat I sentto Kitty on November 10 regarding the July-
1 Sept 1997 bill. Subsequent to that letter, I spoke with Bruce Kessel, who commended
the effort but recommended we just pay the bill. As the bill for October-December 1997
p indicates, we did pay The bill in full (actually paid $50.29 more than the bill--1'm not sure
how that happened).
4 • As the current bill also indicates, the amount now due is $443.84 (would have been
$494.13 if the other bill wasn't overpaid). Once again, this is a huge increase over our
bills for the same time period from earlier years ($246.82 in 1996, $360.53 in 1995,
$315.91 in 1994). •
Given the fact that we only have 7 people working here, and have minimal customer
use of our bathrooms, and had absolutely no outdoor sprinklering during that period, we
E cannot believe that this bill is accurate.
We would like your help in further investigating this matter, and in the meantime would
I like the City to credit our account for a reduction to this bill and the July-September bill
that in our minds was $500.00 or more too high.
ii • Cindy Carlson and I are willing to discuss this matter with the City Council if you feel •
that is the most appropriate way to proceed.
Thank you.
6-4-641gYli 444,(....—
Jeanne M.
