We find the plan acceptable for further development with consideration of
the following comments.
Site Plan Review of 1996
•
• In our letter of December 16, 1996 responding to our first review of this proposal, we stated
that we would allow one access to TI-1 10. We would allow this access approximately
halfway between the Long Lake Road/TI-J 10 and County Road 112/°l'II 10 intersections,
This access would be limited to right-in and right-out movements only. The original
proposal also included two accesses to County Road H2,
Edgewood Drive Relocation Proposal review of 1997
• In November 1997,we reviewed the Edgewood Drive relocation proposal. The proposal
included relocating Edgewood Drive to provide a four-legged, signalized intersection with a
south frontage road providing a connection to Long Lake Road and Mounds View Drive, In
our letter of December 4, 1997,we supported the proposal.
Current Site Plan Access Issues
• The current site plan proposal does not provide for a frontage road connection to Long Lake
Drive as proposed in the l:dgewood Drive relocation proposal. We will not allow the fburthh
leg of the proposed signalized intersection strictly for private site access, Therefore, we
stand by our original recommendation of allowing one access limited to a right-inlright_out
only located halfway between the Long Lake Road/TH 10 and County Road 112/TH 10
intersections.
An equal opportunity employer
