RESOLUTION NO. 5232 <br /> Authorize Golf Club House Assistant position. <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> County of Ramsey <br /> State of Minnesota <br /> Councilor introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> WHEREAS,the City needs to attract and retain quality staff to make its golf course successful; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City has determined that due to the extended hours of operations and need for <br /> planning prior to opening the course to the public that it would be in the best interests of the City to <br /> create a salaried Club House Assistant position; and <br /> WHEREAS,Ron Huston was employed by the golf course in 1997 and appears very qualified to meet <br /> the needs of the City in this position. <br /> NOW THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City ofMounds View that City <br /> establish a Club House Assistant position and set the maximum salary for the position for 1998 at <br /> $20,000. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Ron Huston be hired for this position at Step 3 ($18,000) <br /> effective February 1, 1998. <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by and the roll being call, <br /> the following vote was recorded: <br /> Voting Aye: . <br /> Voting Nay: . <br /> Not Voting: . <br /> Whereas said resolution was declared to have been duly passed and adopted this 27th day of April, <br /> 1998. <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Mayor <br /> (SEAL) <br /> City Administrator <br />
