"Secretary" is outdated and not entirely inclusive of the type of work our Department <br /> Administrative Assistants perform. (Pat Michna, Barb Benesch and Tracy Juell) <br /> The Payroll/utility billing clerk position(Kitty Hickock)has been changed to Human Resources <br /> Tech and will now operate in the Administration Department. As payroll and benefit issues <br /> make up the majority of Kitty's time, it is a logical step. There are options being explored for <br /> hiring a part time employee/or contracting out for utility billing to allow for growth in this <br /> position in Human Resource areas. Kitty's points were raised from 169 to 210 to reflect her <br /> change in title and increased job responsibilities that were added when the former utility billing <br /> clerk left. <br /> The Department Secretary position for Public Works (Tracy Juell) was changed to the new title <br /> of Administrative Assistant. This position has recently taken on the Recycling Program. Due to <br /> this increase in job responsibility, the points were increased from 177 to 194. <br /> The Building Inspector position was retitled Building Official with a point increase from 262 to <br /> 310,to reflect the updated job description with increasing job responsibilities. <br /> The position of Administration Department Secretary has been changed to the Office <br /> Communications Coordinator.
