A <br /> Good news for Mounds View homeowners with homes built prior to 1965 The City of Mounds View has recently <br /> been approved for participation in the Community Fix-up Fund program offered through by the Minnesota Housing <br /> Finance Agency(MHFA).The Community Fix-up Fund is a joint effort between the City of Mounds,Western Bank <br /> and The Center for Energy and the Environment(CEE). Funding support is provided by the MHFA.These below <br /> market rate loans have an annual percentage rate that is based on projected household income—the lower the <br /> income, the lower rate. <br /> Qualifying Mounds View homeowners must have a home built prior to 1965 and have an adjusted household income <br /> of$69,920 or less. Maximum loan amounts are$35,000 for a maximum loan term of 20 years.Qualifying improve- <br />' ments include basic livability and energy efficiency of the home.Funds are available!For specific loan information <br /> about the Community Fix-up Fund, please call Jeanne Kassim at Western Bank at 290-7870 or Donna Krech at <br /> CEE at 335-5864.
