CALL MEETING TO ORDER: <br /> The Mounds View City Council was called to order by Mayor McCarty at 7:00 p.m.on January 12, 1998. <br /> 2. ROLL CALL: <br /> MEMBERS PRESENT: Mayor McCarty,Council members Koopmeiners, Gunn <br /> Quick and Stigney <br /> ALSO PRESENT: Chuck Whiting, Clerk Administrator <br /> Bruce Kessel, Finance Director <br /> Rick Jopke,Community Development Director <br /> Jim Ericson,Planning Assistant <br /> Cathy Bennett,Economic Development Director <br /> Bob Long,City Attorney <br /> Mayor McCarty noted that he would like to move the Agenda ahead to Item 4 at this time. <br /> 4. SPECIAL ORDER OF BUSINESS: <br /> A. Recognition and Appreciation for Economic Development Director: <br /> Mayor McCarty read and presented a plaque of Recognition and Appreciation from the City of Mounds <br /> View to Cathy Bennett,Director of Economic Development. On behalf of the City Council,he extended <br /> his sincere appreciation of her hard work and wished her the best of luck in her new endeavors. <br /> Ms.Bennett thanked the Council and noted that her years of service at Mounds View have provided her <br /> • with a lot of experience and she looks forward to keeping posted on the progress of development within the <br /> city. <br />
