Subd. 7 provides for the
issuance of a temporary intoxicating liquor banquet license, which can be issued to a holder of
an on-sale intoxicating liquor license issued by the City or an adjacent city. subject to the
requirements(similar to those contained in the above referenced code sections)of the subdivision.
as well as the requirements of Minn. Stat. § 340A.404, Subd. 4(a). Additionally, a new
Municipal Code section could also be created to encompass the authority contained in Minn. Stat.
§ 340A.404, Subd. 4(b) as to a retail on-sale intoxicating liquor licensee's ability to make off
premise sales at a community festival.
