PUBLIC SERVICE PROGRAM <br /> Human Resource Program Function and Service Standards <br /> This program is responsible for personnel services including professional development for City staff and <br /> providing a safe work environment by developing and implementing a safety plan to minimize loss. <br /> PROGRAM OBJECTIVES ARE TO: <br /> • Maintain personnel files in accordance with the relevant Federal, State and Local Laws; <br /> • Recruit and maintain quality employees; and <br /> • Provide competitive compensation program for employees based on performance standards and <br /> maintain compliance with Pay Equity. <br /> BUDGET IMPACT <br /> Personnel: <br /> Personnel in this program consist of the following: <br /> • Administrative Clerk <br /> • "Administrative Employee"- Title Unknown <br /> Due to the possibility of restructuring personnel in specific City departments, the position title of the <br /> 1996 Administrative Intern has not been determined and is listed as"Administrative Employee". <br /> General Expenditures: <br /> General expenditures will increase in 1997 due to the full-time status of the Administrative Clerk and <br /> salary increase of the Administrative Employee. <br /> B. CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PLAN <br /> Capital equipment projections are included in the Capital Equipment Plan. <br /> • C. CAPITAL BUDGET <br /> Funding for all capital equipment will be through the General Fund. <br />
