Works with staff throughout all departments coordinating human <br /> resource activities. Additionally this position is responsible for the for a variety of additional <br /> complex administrative and as well as administering the City's recycling program. <br /> SUPERVISION RECEIVED <br /> Works under the guidance of the Finance Director. <br /> SUPERVISION EXERCISED <br /> • <br /> None. <br /> ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILI1MS <br /> Perform Recruitment, Staffing or Placement Activities <br /> • Assist departments in staffing and recruitment efforts for City positions. Coordinate <br /> advertising publications and notifications. <br /> • Administer and score pre-employment tests and applications. <br /> • Coordinate oral interviews. <br /> • Assist departments and divisions in selecting candidates. <br /> • Conduct new employee orientation, informing employees about personnel policies, <br /> procedures and programs. <br /> Monitor and Provide Personnel Policies, Procedures, and Practices <br /> • Monitor, determine and interpret content of legislative issues that may affect the City's <br /> Personnel policies and procedures. <br /> • Develop and prepare necessary policies, resolutions, ordinance and procedures to ensure <br /> compliance with employment law and related regulations as directed by supervisor. <br /> • Design, develop and continually update employee handbook of personnel policies, <br /> • procedures, practices. <br />
