POLICE <br /> • Tom Kinney is working on a parental kidnaping. The father took his three year old <br /> daughter and has not been since. A warrant for the father has been issued. <br /> • The Chief and Tim Brennan are meeting with Pinewood Officials regarding DARE. <br /> • Dave Anderson will be off for a few days recovering from minor surgery. <br /> • The Chief will be meeting with New Brighton and school officials regarding the liaison <br /> officer at Irondale. <br /> Tim <br /> COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT <br /> • Jim Ericson, our new Planning Associate, begins on September 30 (Monday). To prepare, <br /> we have done some moving around. Jennifer has moved into Joyce's old cubicle. On <br /> Wednesday, Jim H. and Rick spent most of the day adjoining Jennifer's old cubicle with <br /> the vacant one next to it which will be Jim E's new office. If you get a chance, come take <br /> a look. <br /> • On Wednesday, Herbst& Sons began the demolition of 8265 Spring Lake Road. As of <br /> Wednesday afternoon, all shut offs had been completed, the well had been abandoned and <br /> the house was demolished. After the crew removes the rubbish and fills the property,the <br /> job will be complete. Then,the search for a developer begins. <br /> • Jim Hess and Dave Johnson have hooked up all the computers at City Hall to the new <br /> Network system, EtherNet.
