The <br /> final asphalt course should be laid next week. After that misc odds and ends should be <br /> wrapped up and a punch list developed. <br /> * Curb and gutter and the first course of asphalt has been completed on the extension of <br /> Mounds View drive. That project will wrap up along with Bronson Drive. <br /> * Tim is near completion of the hydraulic retrofit of the oldest dump truck. The new <br /> controls will provide the operators with easier and safer operation of the truck during <br /> winter operations. <br /> * Several members of the staff will be attending a two day training session at Aldrich <br /> Arena for winter operations. The snow rodeo will take place at this time, along with <br /> numerous equipment displays and classroom sessions. <br /> * With winter around the corner, we will be completing the last of the seasons patching <br /> duties,preparing the equipment for snow removal, developing new plowing routes, and <br /> sweeping streets. <br /> * Lynnette, Tim Pittman and Mike will be interviewing five candidates for the Public Works <br /> position on Thursday. <br /> Mike <br />
