You have now received the City of <br /> Mounds View's written offer to purchase the property you own and occupy at the above-note <br /> project address. As we have discussed with you, it will be necessary for you to move after the <br /> City acquires your property. However,you do not need to move now. You will not be required <br /> to move without at least 90 days advance written notice of the date by which you must vacate. <br /> And when you do move, you will be entitled to relocation payments and other assistance in <br /> accordance with Federal regulations implementing the Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real <br /> Property Acquisition Policies Act of 1970 as amended(Uniform Act). The effective date of this <br /> notice is July 22, 1996. <br /> To assist you in covering your costs of moving, you may choose either; (1) a payment for your <br /> documented actual, reasonable moving and related expenses, limited to a distance of 50 miles; or <br /> (2) a fixed, "lump sum"payment which is made directly to you and does not require <br /> documentation. The amount of your fixed move payment is based on the number of rooms you <br /> furnish and occupy, and is computed using a schedule set forth by the Federal Highway <br /> Administration. After a review of your home, we calculate a fixed a payment of$1,150.00 for <br /> you move. <br /> Also, if you owned and occupied your home for at least 180 days prior to July 22, 1996, and if <br /> you buy a decent, safe and sanitary replacement home, you may receive a replacement housing <br /> purchase supplement payment to assist in covering the following costs: <br /> 1. Different Amount-If you must pay more to buy a"comparable"replacement home than you <br /> receive for your present home, this differential amount will cover the difference up to certain <br /> limits.
