Since her departure,Marjorie <br /> Norquist has been performing the basic receptionist functions. <br /> To fill this position, an advertisement was placed in the Star Tribune. Qualifications for the position included <br /> reception background, computer experience, and knowledge of miscellaneous office operations. Thursday, <br /> June 27, 1996 Cathy Bennett, Barb Benesch, and I interviewed the final candidates selected for the position, <br /> Waried Diane Clyne was determined to be the most qualified and best candidate for the position. Ms. Clyne has <br /> ty <br /> of receptionist and local government experience. <br /> A comprehensive reference check has been conducted for Ms. Clyne. With her educational background and <br /> past work experience, Ms. Clyne has met the requirements of the position and has demonstrated that she has <br /> the ability to perform the job duties and responsibilities of the position. <br /> It is recommended Ms. Clyne start at Step 1 of the City's 5 Step Compensation Plan, effective July 24, 1996. <br /> Lyrfnette Morgan, Administrative Aide <br /> RECOMMENDATION: <br /> Motion to waive the reading and adopt Resolution No. 4971 approving the hire of Diane Clyne, <br /> Receptionist/Switchboard Operator. <br /> 1. <br /> 1 <br />
