The purpose of the grant is to assist agencies to <br /> Off <br /> ore effectively address the housing needs of their community. Grant funds may be used for studies and <br /> analysis, staff training, and legal and professional services. <br /> One of the eligible uses for the Capacity Grant is for staff training. The National Development Council (NDC) <br /> offers a three week training course in housing development and finance. The NDC trains most housing <br /> officials and has an excellent reputation. In addition, it is backed by the Minnesota Housing Finance Agency. <br /> Jennifer Bergman will be applying for the grant to attend this three-week training course. The maximum grant <br /> amount is $10,000.
