• ORDINANCE NO.586 CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW COUNTY OF RAMSEY STATE OF MINNESOTA AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO AUTOMATIC FIRE SUPPRESSION AND AMENDING TITLE 1001,SECTION 1001.01,SUBD. 1 OF THE MOUNDS VIEW MUNICIPAL CODE THE CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW ORDAINS: SECTION 1. II'i'LE 1001,ENTITLED"BUILDING CODE"shall be amended to amend Section 1001.01, Subd. 1 of the Mounds View Municipal Code is worded to read: Subd. 1 Minnesota State Building Code Adopted: There is hereby adopted by the-City of Mounds View as its city building code for the purpose of providing uniform building standards to safeguard life or limb,health,property and public welfare by regulating and controlling design, construction, quality of materials, use and occupancy of all buildings and structures, the Minnesota State Building Code, authorized by Minnesota Statutes 16B.59 to 16B.75 including the Rules of The Commissioner of Administration and specifically including Minnesota Rules Chapter 1306 Special Fire Protection Systems and is made a part of this code as completely as if fully set forth herein. As provided by the State Building Code, the following Options of the State Building Code are hereby • adopted by reference and incorporated herein as part of the building code for the city: (a) Chapter 1306.0100 Subp. 3 item 8 to Group M mercantile, S storage, or F factory occupancies with five thousand(5000)or more gross square feet of floor area or three or more stories in height. and- A copy of said Building Code is on file in the office of the Clerk- Administrator. SECTION 2. This ordinance is effective thirty(30) days after publication. Read by the City Council of the City of Mounds View this day of , 1996.
