Examples of collaborations for recreation programs for youth was the main <br /> topic. <br /> * Picnic reservations and recreation program registrations for Spring activities are being <br /> received. <br /> * Irondale High School has requested use of Silver View Park ballfields for girls fast pitch <br /> softball beginning in early April. These fields have been reserved for them and park <br /> maintenance and adaptation is scheduled. <br /> * Two programs are being offered at Edgewood Middle School to enhance their after <br /> school program. One program is bowling and the other is golf. Both programs will <br /> require bussing which the city will provide along with supervision . This is one example of <br /> programs offered to youth of the community in cooperation with the Community <br /> Education Enrichment program for after school activities at Edgewood Middle School. <br /> PARKS <br /> * Steve and Jeff attended the MTI School which provides information regarding up to date <br /> irrigation equipment, materials and practices. <br /> * Parks crew has been continuing to collect park branches and has been working on repairs <br /> to the Cushman which is used for field maintenance. <br />
