PUBLIC WORKS
• The Water Department (Bill and Bill) are at a MRWA Technical Conference in St. Cloud,
March 5, 6 and 7.
• On March 4, Mark, Tim Fredberg, Tim Pittman and Gary attended an all day Elgin
Sweeper Clinic.
• On March 5, Mark, Tim Fredberg and Gary attended a '/2 day seminar on Crack sealing.
• The Streets and Sewer Departments were out removing snow March 6. A bolt broke on
the wing of the loader and a hydraulic hose on one of the dumps.
• Tina Curtis from Qcues (our Sewer Televising Equipment mfg) came out on Tuesday,
March 5.
• Thank you to Tom Baumgart and J.J. for their insights on(2) of last weeks dilemmas.
Their suggestions proved to be most useful and the Public Works Department is very
appreciative.
• Appointments were scheduled for (7) more PhoneRead installations. March 13 is the last
day WaterPro will have an installer here in the City. (2) certified letters came back
unclaimed, apparently the owners we had listed had moved. New letters were drafted and
sent out to the current property owners.
• AccuWeather reviewed our account and decided that we owed them nothing and to please
disregard any of the past due notices. They apologized and hoped that if we ever needed
another weather service, to contact them!
Tracy Juell
POLICE
• Chief Ramacher is on vacation in Florida and will be returning March 11th.
