• Rick is preparing the bid proposals for 1996 tree removal services. <br /> GOLF COURSE <br /> • The Golf Brochure has been distributed. Registrations for leagues begins March 9. <br /> Lesson registrations are being taken presently. <br /> • John continues to interview staff and develop staffing schedules to begin in mid March at <br /> the Clubhouse and April for course maintenance. <br /> • Attached are letters for your information. Hopefully this information will provide you <br /> with a little insight as to the Department's involvement in the community-with <br /> programs and activities that are directed especially towards youth and teens. <br /> Mary S. <br /> FINANCE <br /> • The Finance Department is continuing to look at computers and software options <br /> for our department. Dorothy, Kitty and I went for a demonstration on <br /> Wednesday. The additional options and increased speed of processing is <br /> amazing. <br /> • At this time, utility payments are the top priority for Dorothy and Marge. Dorothy, <br /> Todd from Waterpro, and Sara from Computerservice, are working out the final <br /> details on the billing procedure. <br /> • Kitty has been working on accounts payable this week. Besides talking with the <br /> computer companies, she also attended the MIS Committee meeting this week <br /> where computer technology was a topic. <br /> • This week the "Accounting Detail " of the 1996 adopted budget was handed out <br /> to City Staff. There are extras if anyone needs a book. The official 1996 City of <br /> Mounds View Adopted Budget is still in the process of being put together. The <br /> bond sale went well and after a few more details that process should be behind <br /> us until next time. The auditors will be here very soon so I continue to work on <br /> providing all the worksheets and information they will need. <br /> The Finance Department congratulates, Jack and Michele.
