BUDGET NEWSLETTER <br /> 40 The Finance Department provided information for the Budget Newsletter; Administration researched <br /> and provided more information, developed and organized the data; and Communications formatted <br /> the newsletter. <br /> LONG-TERM FINANCIAL PLAN <br /> After long-term plan information was approved Administration corrected, revised, organized and <br /> delivered the final product. <br /> TRUTH IN TAXATION HEARING <br /> The Finance Department and Administration developed and delivered information for the hearing. <br /> COlVIlV>1i�.111~ES <br /> SAFETY COMMITTEE <br /> Stricter state law in relation to Safety Committees required the reformation of the original Safety <br /> Committee in December. A state grant was applied for the funding of items which would improve <br /> safety within the municipality. <br /> MIS COMMITTEE <br /> The MIS Committee facilitated the purchases of a new file server, standardized the software of all <br /> City departments, organized computer training for all City employees, and aided in the conversion <br /> of files and programs. <br /> III <br /> AIRPORT TASK FORCE <br /> The Airport Task Force was created in 1995 to monitor the progress on MAC's plans for upgrades <br /> to the Anoka/Blaine Airport. Dawn Postudensek was appointed staff liaison to this committee. <br /> LMC PERSONNEL TASK FORCE <br /> Dawn Postudensek worked (and continues to work) on a League committee designed to develop <br /> personnel policies to deliver to the legislature. <br /> LMC INDIAN SOVEREIGNTY TASK FORCE <br /> Dawn Postudensek on Indian Sovereignty Task Force involved with the understanding of issues in <br /> relation to reservation land. <br /> MAUMA <br /> Dawn Postudensek and Lynnette Morgan: constant up-dating of relevant government issues. <br /> TUG(Personnel Group) <br /> Dawn Postudensek and Lynnette Morgan: constant up-dating of relevant personnel issues. Dawn is <br /> also a member of TUG's Safety Committee. <br /> III <br />
