A program was developed and will be brought to <br /> the impending Personnel Task Force. <br /> AFFll MAT IVE ACTION <br /> The biannual affirmative action plan was submitted to the Minnesota Department of Human Rights <br /> for compliance. <br /> UNION CONTRACT NEGOTIATIONS <br /> Public Works contractual negotiations for 1996 concluded in November. <br /> POLICY:DEVELOPMENT' ' <br /> MIS: A new administrative policy was created to direct employees in the usage of City computers, <br /> software and the procedures of purchasing new software. <br /> Contingency Fund Usage: The Contingency Fund Policy was developed to assure that General Fund <br /> resources will be available to meet qualified unbudgeted and unforseen expenditures. <br /> S. Drug Testing: A service agreement with Kerr Transportation was approved in October and the final <br /> employee drug testing policy was approved by Council in December. <br /> Vehicle Usage: The Vehicle Usage administrative policy was revised in order to give employees a <br /> clearer sense of understanding and responsibility. <br /> Personnel Handbook: Extensive research and analysis was conducted (and continues) in order for <br /> all employees to understand the comprehensive responsibilities and roles of being a City employee. <br /> Administrative Policies: Consistent up-dating was conducted to keep up with legislative changes. <br /> : STREET LIGHT. ...
