This is an <br /> eight training that is mandated by the State. <br /> * Tom Baumgart conducted a safety seminar for businesses. Five <br /> Mounds View Businesses were represented. <br /> * A written examination for police applicants was conducted. <br /> ninety-seven people took the test. <br /> * Larry Siluk attended a "sex crimes" seminar, Dave Brick <br /> attended a three day Emergency Management school. <br /> * Mike Kampa had surgery on his right shoulder. He hurt it <br /> months ago subduing a suspect. Mike won't be back to work <br /> until February. <br /> * Meetings were held to share computer services with Ramsey <br /> County, New Brighton, and Roseville. <br /> * Meetings were held to finalize the Liaison Officer position <br /> at Irondale. <br /> • <br /> * Various members of the Department attended training in <br /> computers, firearms, and CPR. <br /> * The Lion's Club made a donation of $3 , 200 to the Dare Fund. <br /> • <br />
