By following the revised position description of Golf <br /> Course Superintendent, he would not fall under the category of an independent contractor and a contract <br /> would deem unnecessary. <br /> It is proposed that Mr. Hammerschmidt follow the description of a regular employee and the related City <br /> 0 Compensation Plan. He has demonstrated all of the requirements of the position and is able to perform the <br /> duties and responsibilities of a Golf Course Superintendent. It is recommended that Mr. Hammerschmidt <br /> start at Step 3, which is$37,109.33/yr. Upon a satisfactory performance review after six months, he would <br /> then advance to Step 4 at$39,170.96/yr.
