RESOLUTION NO. 4881 <br /> • <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING THE HIRE OF JOHN HAMMERSCFMIDT, <br /> GOLF COURSE SUPERINTENDENT <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. Hammerschmidt's past work experience for the City of Mounds View indicates <br /> he has the knowledge, skills and ability to perform the job tasks and duties of the Golf Course <br /> Superintendent position; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City desires to retain the services of Mr. Hammerschmidt to provide golf course <br /> superintendent services; and <br /> WHEREAS,the contracted position of Golf Course Superintendent expired December, 1995; and <br /> WHEREAS, resuming the past status of the position as a regular, full-time employee is consistent <br /> with management goals of the organization. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED that it is proposed that the City Council in and for the <br /> City of Mounds View does hereby hire John Hammerschmidt for this Golf Course Superintendent • <br /> position effective January 1, 1996 with the following 5 step compensation plan: <br /> Step 1 Step 2 Step 3 Step 4 Step 5 <br /> $32,986.12 $35,047.70 $37,109.33 $39,170.96 $41,232.59 <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that John Hammerschmidt will commence the position of Golf <br /> Course Superintendent at Step 3, effective 1/1/96 and advance through the Step Plan according to <br /> City policy. <br /> Presented this 8th day of January, 1996. <br /> (SEAL) <br /> Jerry Linke, Mayor <br /> (ATTEST) <br /> Paul Harrington, Interim City Admin. <br />
