He indicated the City received $19,292 2 <br />in a grant to assist with correcting a stormwater issue on Tom Field’s property. 3 <br /> 4 <br />Council Member Mueller asked Director Erickson how Bolton & Menk was chosen to work on 5 <br />the grant application. Public Works Director Erickson reported he completed the grant 6 <br />application and simply referred to Bolton & Menk for several questions that were of a time-7 <br />sensitive nature. 8 <br /> 9 <br />Council Member Mueller requested staff pass along her thanks to Bolton & Menk for their 10 <br />assistance in this grant. 11 <br /> 12 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Meehlhause/Gunn. Second Reading and Adoption of Ordinance 919, an Ordinance Amending 18 <br />Chapter 1008 of the Mounds View Municipal Code Regarding Dynamic 19 <br />Display Signs (ROLL CALL VOTE). 20 <br /> 21 <br />City Planner Sevald requested the Council approve the adoption of Ordinance 919, which would 22 <br />amend Chapter 1008 of the Mounds View Municipal Code regarding dynamic display signs. He 23 <br />noted dynamic display signs were permitted in the City’s business districts, but were restricted in 24 <br />the R-1 zoning district. He indicated the proposed amendment would permit full-color dynamic 25 <br />display signs at churches and institutional uses in the R-1 zoning district. 26 <br /> 27 <br />Council Member Mueller reported the number of lumens would still be limited for the dynamic 28 <br />display signs. She explained an interim police chief was appointed, which was Deputy Chief Steve 43 <br />Menard.
