To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 8608, 3 <br />Approve Additional Funding for the 2016 Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation Project. 4 <br /> 5 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 6 <br /> 7 <br />F. Resolution 8610, Authorizing Installation of cable for security cameras at 8 <br />City Hall and the Community Center. 9 <br /> 10 <br />Finance Director Beer requested the Council authorize the purchase and installation of cable for 11 <br />security cameras at City Hall and the Community Center. He indicated the Council has taken 12 <br />steps over the last few years to improve security at the City’s facilities. The proposed location 13 <br />for the cameras was discussed noting 23 cameras would be placed at the Community Center and 14 <br />16 would be placed at City Hall. He reported the original budget for this project was $40,000. It 15 <br />was noted the YMCA was willing to assist with the camera purchase and cable installation. He 16 <br />commented an additional $12,000 would be needed to complete the project. Funds were 17 <br />available in the Special Projects Fund to cover this overage. Staff recommended approval of the 18 <br />installation of cable for security cameras at City Hall and the Community Center. 19 <br /> 20 <br />Council Member Mueller thanked Finance Director Beer for his work on this item and 21 <br />appreciated the fact that shared revenues would be used for this project. 22 <br /> 23 <br />Council Member Mueller questioned if the new cameras would be able to be viewed remotely. 24 <br />Finance Director Beer stated this was the case. 25 <br /> 26 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Meehlhause. To Approve the Consent Agenda as presented. 36 <br /> 37 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 38 <br /> 39 <br />9. JUST AND CORRECT CLAIMS 40 <br /> 41 <br />Finance Director Beer answered the Council's questions related to claims. 42 <br /> 43 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Flaherty/Gunn. To Approve the Just and Correct Claims as presented. 44 <br /> 45
