To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 8604, 2 <br />Approving a Revised Job Description and Advertise for the Police Records/Evidence Technician 3 <br />in the Mounds View Police Department. 4 <br /> 5 <br />Council Member Mueller questioned how the City would be advertising for this position. 6 <br />Assistant City Administrator Crane reviewed each of the locations the job would be posted. 7 <br /> 8 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 9 <br /> 10 <br />D. Resolution 8606, Approve Contract to Provide Asbestos and Regulated 11 <br />Waste Inspection at the Public Works Facility. 12 <br /> 13 <br />Public Works Director Erickson requested the Council approve a contract to provide asbestos 14 <br />and regulated waste inspection at the Public Works Facility. He reported this request was being 15 <br />made prior to the demolition of the Public Works Facility in the event there was any regulated 16 <br />waste. By doing this prior to the demolition, concerns could be addressed early on and there 17 <br />would not be future delays. It was noted the expense for this item would come out of the Special 18 <br />Projects Fund. Staff recommended approval of the contract. 19 <br /> 20 <br />Council Member Mueller understood the City would be responsible for making the building 21 <br />whole again if regulated waste was found. Public Works Director Erickson reported this was the 22 <br />case. 23 <br /> 24 <br />Mayor Flaherty questioned who required the pre-demolition survey. Resolution 8608, Approve Additional Funding for the 2016 Sanitary Sewer 34 <br />Rehabilitation Project. 35 <br /> 36 <br />Public Works Director Erickson requested the Council approve additional funding for the 2016 37 <br />Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation Project. He explained this project just began last week and staff 38 <br />would like to add a section along Spring Lake Road. He noted the budget had remaining funding 39 <br />to cover the additional expense. 40 <br /> 41 <br />Mayor Flaherty questioned if Spring Lake Road was a part of the City’s Street and Utility 42 <br />program.
