<br /> <br /> Resolution 8628 <br />Note: <br />a. Neutralization chemistry for post-cleaning backwash water is provided by <br />Hawkins in the form of 140 gallons of Sodium Hydroxide 30% solution. <br />b. Defoamer may be needed and will be provided by Hawkins. <br />c. Installation labor is not included and shall be by others. <br />d. Product will ship in 40 each of 50 lb bags. <br />e. Each filter will be dosed with ten (10) 50 lb bags. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br /> <br />1. Approves the quote submitted by Hawkins Water Treatment Group to supply the <br />needed chemical to clean the filter media at W ater Treatment Plant #2 in the amount of <br />$7,140.00 to include the scope of work stated above. <br /> <br />2. Approve a 10% contingency for $714.00 for any cover any unforeseen expenses for <br />cleaning the filter media at W ater Treatment Plant #2.
