<br /> <br />www.ci.mounds-view.mn.us <br /> <br /> Nick and Niko demonstrate their skills at the Woodlawn Apartments. <br /> <br /> <br />On 05/01/2016 at 1917 hours, officers responded to the 7700 block of Groveland <br />Road for a violation of order of protection. Initial information stated the suspect came <br />to the victim’s house. The suspect was in violation of an active Felony level Order for <br />Protection. With the K9 team, officers began a track which led northbound through <br />the neighborhood. An article of clothing belonging to the suspect was located along <br />the track by K9 Niko. The K9 continued to track to the north through the backyards <br />of the residences. K9 Niko located the suspect behind a detached garage in the <br />backyard. The suspect began walking away and officers gave commands to stop or be <br />bit by the K9. The suspect then complied with verbal commands. The suspect was <br />taken into custody. <br /> <br /> <br />
