Mounds View is <br />required to submit a Comprehensive Plan update to the Metropolitan Council by Dec. 31, 2018, <br />to include specific information and maps. Staff will be updating the text, and a consultant will be <br />used to create the maps. Staff solicited bids from consultants (see below). Staff has reviewed <br />the four proposals, and contacted references from the two consultants with the lowest bids; <br />Sambatek, and Stantec. Staff is recommending Stantec based on their proposal and by verbal <br />references provided by previous Stantec clients. <br /> <br />Discussion: <br />Staff solicited proposals from six consulting firms (four responded) for bids on: <br /> <br />1. Create maps required via the Metropolitan Council’s checklist of Minimum Requirements for <br />Mounds View; <br />2. Hourly fee to create additional maps as needed <br /> <br /> <br />Consultant 1.
