Phase 1 (Fall 2016) <br />Phase 1 will include data gathering and drafting of the required maps to be reviewed by the <br />Comprehensive Plan Task Force during 2017, and revised as needed. <br /> <br />Expenses would be funded through the 2017 budget. All fee estimates assume that the data <br />needed to create maps exists in a usable format. If not, the consultant will need to create the <br />data, which would be at an hourly expense. <br /> <br />Phase 2 (Winter/Spring 2017) <br />Phase 2 will concentrate on the work of the Task Force (to be convened in winter, 2017). It is <br />anticipated that the Task Force will want to explore issues beyond the basic requirements of the <br />Metropolitan Council. This exploration will likely require additional map work. <br /> <br />If significant map work is needed, Staff will request additional funding from the City Council at <br />that time. <br /> <br />Phase 3 (Summer/Fall 2017) <br />Phase 3 will concentrate on review and refinements. <br /> <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br />Staff recommends approval of Resolution #8629 that the City contract with Stantec to complete <br />maps as required by the “Metropolitan Council’s checklist of Minimum Requirements for Mounds <br />View” for a fee not to exceed $9,850. <br /> <br /> <br />Respectfully submitted, <br /> <br /> <br />________________________ <br />Jon Sevald, AICP <br />Planner <br /> <br /> <br />Attachments <br />Resolution #8629
